Overview

Monte Rosa Therapeutics is seeking a motivated HighThroughput Ceelular Assasy expert  to contribute to our mission of eliminating disease-causing proteins through targeted protein degradation, an innovative approach that enables us to target proteins once considered undruggable. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing high-throughput cellular assays for screening and compound profiling. You will join a fast-paced and innovative team environment that values teamwork, collaboration, and scientific rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Culture a variety of cell lines and primary cells to develop and optimize high-throughput cellular assays to evaluate target engagement, degradation and pathway modulation
  •  Utilize automation system to execute cell-based screening and profiling campaigns
  •  Collaborate within a matrixed environment that integrates multiple functions to drive program decisions.
  •  Keep meticulous records of experiments on ELN.

Qualifications

  •  MS or Ph.D.  with  in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • The Senior Research Associate II level will have 4-6 years of relevent industrial experience  and a  Scientist wiill pocess  1-2 years industrial exerience
  • A thorough understanding of assay principles is required
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing cellular assays for lead discovery and optimization is required. Relevant assay formats include NanoBRET, cellular HTRF, AlphaLISA, HiBiT, and NanoBiT, Degradation Kinetics.
  •  Experience working in a drug discovery environment is preferred.  
  • Experience with compound screening formats, laboratory instrumentation and automation, data analysis and management is preferred.  
  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
  • Ability to adapt effectively to rapidly approaching  deadlines in a dynamic research environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
