Monte Rosa Therapeutics is seeking for an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated scientist to join our BioMarker Group in Basel. Monte Rosa’s rational approach to targeting disease-causing proteins for degradation will deliver pioneering therapies for Immunology & Inflammation (I&I), oncology and other disease areas. The candidate will conduct well-designed and reliably executed experiments in the lab that are aimed at assessing preclinical, translational and clinical samples. In addition, support to internal sample management team is expected. The scientist will work in close collaboration with biomarker, project and clinical teams to develop biomarker assays, implement internal and external biomarker activities, and perform studies to support indication/patient selection opportunities.
• Independently design and execute experiments, interpret, present and report of assigned projects
• Development, validation and implementation of molecular and cellular-based assays to support biomarker development and testing in translational research and clinical trials
• Ensure high quality biomarker data delivered timely for key decision taking
• Support team efforts in preparation and execution of biomarker plans
• Support identification and development of novel biomarker assays/platforms to support biomarker innovation
• Development of Best Practices, SOPS, process, templates, study plans, validation reports and other relevant documentation
• Maintain laboratory instruments, reagents, consumables, and other routine laboratory tasks
• Support internal sample management Team (minimum 20% of the time)
