The successful candidate should have a strong interest in early-stage drug discovery and prior experience in HTS data analysis and hit follow-up.

  • Analyze High Throughput Screening (HTS) output with the goal of identifying promising starting points for hit generation chemistry.
  • Develop hit follow up and early lead generation strategy for discovery targets in collaboration with Discovery scientists.
  • Create structure activity relationship driven hypotheses for follow-up experiments to probe target engagement in hit validation.
  • Contribute to lead generation strategy for new ligase discovery.
  • Provide tool compounds and contribute to target validation efforts as member of a cross-functional discovery team.
  • Provide chemistry progressive assessments for early targets.
  • Develop and evolve the lead generation chemistry platform through actionable feedback from screening results.
